It’s not as simple as letting a few hundred or thousands into America on their terms. It’s about the most basic rule of a civilized nation. Who is in charge of a country? The citizens who follow the rules and obey the laws? Or anyone who decides to break the rules and laws? Who gets to decide? The citizens or the illegal border crashers?

There’s a huge difference between refugees, migrants and  illegal immigrants. Refugees have no choice but to escape a murderous regime. When it comes to dying the only alternative is to get to a better place. America welcomes refugees but the caravan heading for the Southern border of America has more than refugees. There are people who want to work but cannot find a job. They are economic migrants who could have found work in Mexico but decided to try to get away with sneaking into America. there are Socialists who despise Capitalism. There are criminals who want to rape, kill and steal from other people. There are terrorists who want to kill Americans. They all must be sent back and told to get in line like you are supposed to do because America doesn’t need or want people who break the law to get to America It’s not up to a mob to tell America how to live .

On Wednesday, Oct 31, 2018, New York Democratic candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sent out a bizarre email demanding Democrats “push back” against Republicans and Trump, who she referred to as “cold-hearted monsters.”

In a very lengthy email, the self-described socialist vowed to protect voters from “white supremacist forces” that she claims are terrorizing Americans under Trump. she was an intern in the immigration office of U.S. Senator Ted Kennedy.

“…  we can defeat the brutal white supremacist forces of anti-Semitism, anti-immigrant nativism, and racism. We can hold accountable the cold-hearted monsters who have repeatedly attacked our health care,” the email stated.

“We can send a message to the bigots and billionaires that this country belongs to all of us. We can win if we show up on November 6. We must end Republican control of Congress and begin to reclaim our nation,” it added.

Later in the email, Ocasio-Cortez who immerces herself only in non-white culture argued it’s time to push back against white supremacists, bigots, and Islamophobes, which could be a reference to Trump.

“Our chance to push back against white supremacist forces across our nation, against the xenophobes who are militarizing the border, against the bigots who seek to erase our transgender families, against the apologists for sexual assault and the Islamophobes who sow hate to divide us,” the email stated. It must be especially grating to Cortez that the national seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate for Hispanics and Latinos in the U.S. labor force fell to the lowest level on record in October of 2018. Donald Trump has been president for almost two years so a lot of the credit goes to his attention to economic and employment issues.

Cortez sure seems to be panicking ahead of Tuesday’s critical elections but she doesn’t grasp that accusing people and calling people names is showing and sowing hate towards those people. Cortez is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America seems to divide America according to racial lines. Instead she should seek to unite us because that’s the kind of people Americans are. United. United people. United States. Here’s to The United States of America.
