Nothing, McCain disobeyed orders, flew into a no-go missile zone and got his right wing shot off. Take that, taxpayers who had to foot the bill for the fighter-jet McCain ruined by disobeying orders.
John hid that single fact from us for 51 years. Shot out of the sky by a missile. Shot down in his U.S. taxpayer paid multi-million dollar Skyhawk dive bomber on Oct. 26, 1967 because he broke the rules.
His involvement as one of The Keating Five in the banking scandal was certain. Less clear is McCains sleazy role in the initial promulgation of the Steele Dossier. That could, as information evolves, make McCain party to an attempted coup — not great for his already miniscule historical record. At the very least, he appears to have been a useful pawn and his Trump hatred was easily exploited.
For breaking the faith of a navy pilot McCain paid the price. His claim to fame is: he was captured for breaking the rules.
Some tore apart McCain’s unsuccessful first marriage and his military service, reveling in theories about his time as a prisoner of war. A few suggested that he should…Well, he’s not with us any longer so we’ll let it go.
Headline: ……. ‘OUTRAGED’ Americans Disgusted With Hyper-Politicized McCain Funeral. . . . .”
Meghan McCain spoke at her father’s funeral and took several cheap shots against President Donald Trump.
Then former President Barack Obama followed Meghan McCain by piling on against President Trump.
“We can admire his service in Vietnam, but also realize he was a scoundrel and backstabber as a politician,” wrote a photographer based in the New York area. “I don’t mourn.”
The torrent of outrage came in response to a Saturday evening post on Instagram from Lynne Patton, a longtime associate of the Trump family working in the administration, who had taken to social media to praise McCain.
Americans were disgusted Saturday after another grotesque stunt by the classless D.C. elites who bashed Trump at a funeral.
A few suggested that president Trump should “rot in hell.”
Any act of compromise with the enemy — or opposition party — is greeted with anger and derision.
“Dislike of the opposing party, its supporters and its governing elite is a powerful mechanism driving individuals to remain consistently loyal to their own party,” the two political scientists recentlywrote.
This anger is likely “to shape voting behavior well into the future,” they concluded.
The phenomenon appears to account for much of the animosity toward McCain, particularly among Republicans.
“Sorry, phony, fraud and a traitor,” Shawn Halan, a Southern California real estate agent wrote in a social media post. “He was a pathetic egomaniac bent on fighting conservatism and did it as a pretender!”
Elitist Trump-Haters can’t even shut their mouths against President Trump at a funeral – let that sink in.
Comment on the ‘net: “He’s (McCain) really a despicable man. Hope everything about him is revealed in the near future.”
