In a screaming headline the Associated Press said: “AP analysis: Blacks largely left out among high-paying jobs” by Bob Salsberg and Angeliki Kastanis.  They and the AP blame white people for the lack of success among black architects. . . . That’s a monstrous set of lies.
How do we know that it’s a lie, that racism is holding qualified black professionals from high paying jobs?
An Associated Press analysis of government data found black workers are chronically underrepresented compared with whites in high-salary jobs in technology, business, life sciences, and architecture and engineering, among other areas. So are many other races and cultures where STEM subjects are the basis for the field. the AP left out the information about how many blacks were kept out by white people and who were the white people who kept out the blacks. The AP article is designed only to make white people feel guilty about being white and it maliciously used black people to support that lie because there are no white people keeping qualified people af any race or from any culture out of high paying professions.

Want more proof? Check out Robert C. Richardson’s review of Professor  Michael Levins book  “Why Race Matters: Race Differences and What They Mean”. It did not condemn Levin’s book. Likewise  a review in the Chicago press didn’t show black people are being discriminated against or that white racism is keeping qualified people from high-paying fields. These are simply mean-spirited lies and the AP knows it. .
Why is the AP pushing false narratives? One reason is they are Liberals and yep, it’s Liberal Orthodoxy to blame white people whenever they find a black person with a story. Why is it their inclination to blame white people for the lack of success of black people? That’s the only reason they wrote the opinion piece.
Scads of data disprove the contention of the AP. When a business want’s a building they hire architects based on many issues but race is not one of the issues.

Wikipedia reports: “In general, African Americans are approximately six times more likely to be arrested for violent crimes than are whites. African Americans are also most overrepresented in robbery in 1993, comprising 62 percent of arrestees. African Americans accounted for 52.5% of homicide offenders from 1980 to 2008, with whites 45.3% and “Other” 2.2%. The offending rate for blacks was almost 8 times higher than whites while blacks account for less than 15% of people living in the United States. It prompts the further questions.
