Jody Martin want’s to stop the protests with a series of steps that in effect panders to the protesters, grants them legality for their illegality and gives non-protesters no choice about giving the protesters what she believes the protesters want.

Martin says: Start by saying, “We have heard you; we have seen you; we are also appalled and disgusted. We have listened to your concerns, and we agree, that it is time to change. We also do not want to raise our families in a community that tolerates such atrocities. So effective immediately, . . . ”

In answer to Martin asking for comments the following was offered…

Your are ignoring reality… Protesters are wrong…There is no systemic racism in America… Martin offers no evidence. She starts in the middle by presuming the protesters are right. Protesters offer no evidence to support their false charge of systemic racism or even racism.. Neither does Martin. Neither does anyone else. To the contrary highly respected black people like Thomas Sowell tell us there is no systemic racism in America.

From the Wall Street Journal we learn:

The Myth of Systemic Police Racism

Hold officers accountable who use excessive force. But there’s no evidence of widespread racial bias.

George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis has revived the Obama-era narrative that law enforcement is endemically racist. On Friday, Barack Obama tweeted that for millions of black Americans, being treated differently by the criminal justice system on account of race is “tragically, painfully, maddeningly ‘normal.’ ” Mr. Obama called on the police and the public to create a “new normal,” in which bigotry no longer “infects our institutions and our hearts.”

Fredrick Douglass so clearly emphasized in his autobiography, My Bondage and My Freedom, no race of people can achieve equality if they lack agency. The claim of systemic racism is shameful said Douglass because it robs the black community of any sense of agency and, thus, accountability.

Research shows young black boys have more behavioral problems in the early school years and more delinquency or criminal behavior as adolescents and adults. Unfortunately, BLM teaches through its writings and conferences on race that the idea of a two-parent home, the need for both fathers and mothers, is a racist construct produced by a powerful white majority. But would the young black son wishing for his father to show up agree?

Housing and Urban Development Secretary, black pediatric neurosurgeon Ben Carson went a step further, suggesting “not only does systemic racism not exist in the law enforcement field, but it no longer exists in any meaningful way in American life in general.”

Carson told CNN’s Jake Tapper that he “grew up in a time when there was real systemic racism,” telling a story about a time when he was the only black student in his class, got the best grades, and had to listen to his teacher berate the white students for not trying hard enough.

“That kind of thing is very uncommon now,” Carson said. “Are there still racists around? Absolutely. There were yesterday, there are today and there will be tomorrow. But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t fight it.” And it does mean there is no systemic racism in America.

There is race.. That cannot change. Protesters want fewer police because they don’t want black criminals to be arrested, tried, convicted and sentenced.. Protesters need to be told they are wrong and why.. They are wrong because there is no systemic racism..

Race follows race. Most black people marry black people. Same for white people, Hispanic people and Asian people…..

Americas freedom needs to be celebrated, not excused.. If you really want to identify the differences of the races there is a lot of scholarly information available which disproves the idea that everyone needs to be treated the same. Superior people should not be guilted by lesser people. The laws need to be applied equally but human attributes differ and the different attributes of the different races are facts that must be considered, not wallpapered over in the interest of the false narrative that everyone should always be treated the same. White people should be treated as individuals, not as white people unless other raced people want different treatment because of their race.. Governments did not cause race. Nature did that. Government must make sure everyone follows the rules. America’s Rules are the best ever in the history of the world. Not perfect but still the best.

Clogging the streets, smashing things and burning things is not evidence of anything but criminal behavior and that must be punished.

No one is owed an answer by anyone else. No one needs to tolerate criminals. Martin’s premises are wrong..
