There are 67 Counties in PA and the Sheriff is the highest law enforcement officer in each county. Philly has a huge exception. In Philly the mayor has control of Law Enforcement because the Mayor APPOINTS THE POLICE CHIEF and the Sheriff listens to them. The elected sheriff in Philly actually serves under the politically appointed chief of police.

You have to be really dumb to think that doesn’t matter. The highest Law Enforcement Officer serves a politician. It Matters.
