“Even in a town that rewards sharp elbows and brusque personalities, Rice has managed to make an impressive array of enemies — on Capitol Hill, in Foggy Bottom and abroad” wrote Dana Milbank about U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice. What nation needs a diplomat who is so un-diplomatic? Milbank also wrote about Rice’s vulgarism’s like throwing the middle finger to Richard Holbrook and her shouting matches. Perhaps her thuggy behavior is an advantage in the Obama adminstration which eschews the old ways where dignity mattered, especially in times of crisis. Rice will make a firey guest on Letterman and Leno but will she be able to persuade people in the highest reaches of International government? Not based on her history. Not based on her behavior and especially not based on her incompetence. This woman does not belong on the world stage. She doesn’t belong on a stage anywhere. She will embarass Obama and America. Again.
