The first debate lost it all for Obama. He flew high so long as he could: speak without consequence; condemn without opposition; divide people along class, race and gender lines; blame Bush; blame a video; and fib his way thru life. Obama decided to use his blackness and  stop trying to ingratiate himself to the white community. A mixed up, conflicted man with a confused epistemology rooted in a shocking lack of substance, style, lacking a commanding presence, a man who has been something of a dud of a President, who acrted grumpy, sullen and even disrespectful who swaggered on to the stage then crept off, who finally reached the last stop on his political train. Sic Transit Gloria.
