Multiculturalism is watching it’s destruction. In Holland, Geert Wilders said: “we do not deserve to become strangers in our own land”. In Germany Chancellor Merkel told us “immigrants are welcome — they must learn the language and accept the countries cultural norms”. She was explicit: “the multicultural approach saying we live side by side and happpily with each other has failed….. utterly failed”.
The new thinking is more about what binds societies together rather than the multikulti what makes them different. Turkish President Abdullah Gulapoke of the need for German migrants to “speak German without an accent”.
Immigration is second in importance to the economy as an election issue and mainstream politicians are starting to pay attention.
