Can America survive? Think about this: Sen. Marco Rubio said: “I don’t know of a civilization in the history of the world that’s been able to solve its problems when half the people in a country absolutely hate the other half of the people in that country.”

And this: “We are becoming a society incapable of having debate anymore.”

And: “We are reaching a point in this republic where we are not going to be able to solve the simplest of issues because everyone is putting themselves in a corner where everyone hates everybody.”

“What’s at stake here tonight … is not simply some rule but the ability of the most important nation on earth to debate in a productive and respectful way the pressing issues before it.”

So the question is: “Will America Survive?” The quick answer is: it hasn’t. America as a country is over. At the very minimum, America is split in two. Liberals against Conservatives. But some of the pro-choice Liberals are against abortion and some of the anti-choice Conservatives are in favor of woman’s rights or at least a woman’s right to choose. That’s four divisions. The big divider is abortion.

America is split by abortion and it can’t survive until one side is stopped.

The woman’s march after the swearing in of Donald John used his presidency to protest man-made rules against abortion.

Abortion has been around at least 6,000 years. It’s never going to stop. Never. It can be done with pills either before or shortly after conception. Even the idea of conception is divisive. An egg is fertilized when a sperm fully penetrates it but a fertilized egg is unable to sustain itself more than a short time. It has to attach itself to the uterine wall. Sometimes it attaches outside the uterus. If it does, it can still be sustained by the woman’s body but both the woman and the fertilized egg are in danger. For a woman that danger can be fatal. Only an abortion can save the woman. Who would want to condemn a woman to death because of a non-natural man-made rule? The answer is: A lot of people do so the question is why would the condemners want to do that?

Good question but it requires a debate because of all of the surrounding factors. At the present time in America, that debate probably cannot take place. Too much hate going around. Too many distractions too.

In the end, abortion will survive. If the anti-choicers win, abortion will be driven underground or shipped offshore. America and abortion will return to the days before Roe v.Wade. The do-it-yourself abortion movement will increase. The procedure will be explained and illustrated in papers and pamphlets that will not be available in mass circulation but there’s simply no way to stop information from being disseminated and distributed. Even without the internet abortion information will get thru. With the internet it will get thru easier. In the meantime hate will be weaponized against both sides. Hate will continue because abortion will continue. The War against Women will continue and the Women’s Marches will continue too but even if they stop or are stopped the hate will still be there.

The Two Minutes of Hate, from George Orwell’s dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, is a daily period in which Party members of the society of Oceania must watch a film depicting the Party’s enemies and express their hatred for them for exactly two minutes. hate TV is available almost around the clock so a two minute limit to the daily period of hate has been extended.

In the end, abortion will survive because civilization will survive. What might not survive is America. . ”
