He not only went to college, he went to law school to get a second college degree then he settled in California. He doesn’t get President Trump because the Congressman is no longer Levittown. He’s Washington D.C. and California. That’s why Congressman Fitzpatrick lost in Bristol and Falls. –You are now of and from a different culture with values very different than Levittown or Bucks County which you are supposed to represent.

Working people have a different perspective on movies, the culture and society than Meryl, and probably you. The average American is white (77.1 percent), didn’t go to college, (68.8 percent), Christian (70.6 percent), and thinks either God guided evolution of the species (31 percent) or that humans were created in their present form without evolution (42 percent). More importantly, the median family income is well below both Hollywood and Washington So, when we are talking about the majority in the USA, we are referring to people who not only don’t have one degree, hardly any have two.
When Streep highlights her public school upbringing in New Jersey or Fitzpatrick amplifies his Levittown roots they see themselves as a regular, average Joe or Josephine. Which is false because Streep grew up in an upper-middle-class home, her mother was an artist and like Brian Streep went to college, Vassar and like Fitzpatrick and his older brother, got another, second college degree, –her’s is from Yale, his is from Dickenson. It is difficult for Streep or Fitzpatrick to understand how Donald Trump was elected president because, Ms. or Mr. hyper educated, uppity class of the American Elite, you think of the United States as your country. The problem is you’re wrong. It’s their country.
