Johnnie Carson made late night comedy popular. He came along after Steve Allen the first host of The Tonight Show and Jack Parr who succeeded Steve and Johnnie who succeeded Parr. Then came Jay Leno and that was the end of the popularity of the Tonight show. It’s death throws are hosted by Liberal, Leftie Jimmy Fallon who along with his dumb writers are driving the nails into the coffin of late night TV by going after Trump every chance they get and in every way they can think of. That’s why so many viewers are refusing to watch SNL and Fallon. At this point, good riddance to bad trash. .
