To the victor and all that, Russia took the Crimean Peninsula from Ukraine. Russia has it because they occupied it. That’s what Israel did and continues to do with the so-called settlements. Israel occupied the territory just as Putin did. The world accepted Putin’s annexation of the Crimea but Israel isn’t so fortunate.
Putin got away with taking the Crimea because no religion was involved. In Israel it’s another story because the Muslims oppose Israel. they didn’t oppose Russia.
It’s an unfair world but Israel just acquired a powerful friend in Donald Trump. Prediction? The settlements are safe.
