Smash Capitalism and Destroy Private Property are two of the purposes of the Occupy movement. See: http://www.forbes.com/sites/artcarden/2011/10/21/smash-capitalism-and-you-destroy-civilization/#

From the Forbes Article: –“Even in its present corrupted and cronyized form, “modern capitalism”—which Deirdre McCloskey defines loosely as “private property and unfettered exchange”—is a goose that lays golden eggs, and not merely for the super-rich. If you disagree, ask yourself how many of those claiming to speak for “the 99%” have smart phones, which Louis XIV couldn’t have bought for all the gold in France. The problems the Occupiers blame on “capitalism” were not caused by “private property and unfettered exchange.” They were caused by institutionalized interference with “private property and unfettered exchange.” “

And this final comment in his book Human Action Ludwig von Mises wrote: “The body of economic knowledge is an essential element in the structure of human civilization; it is the foundation upon which modern industrialism and all the moral, intellectual, technological, and therapeutical achievements of the last centuries have been built. It rests with men whether they will make the proper use of the rich treasure with which this knowledge provides them or whether they will leave it unused. But if they fail to take the best advantage of it and disregard its teachings and warnings, they will not annul economics; they will stamp out society and the human race.”

Intellectually, what Mises wrote is almost as deep as you can get. What Obama has done is move human existence closer to stamping out Liberty which is worse than just disregarding the teachings and warnings of economics. Obama has moved the human race backwards past recent cultures, past the Soviet Union, past Fascism, past Bismark’s Germany, past King George II, and past even the middle ages where the existence of serfs was held to be morally acceptable. Obama has moved Western Civilization back before the existence of Magna Carta where the nobles gained some control over the King. The nobles of the 21st century have joined the Kings and Presidents against the serfs. It’s no longer a question of when Capitalism and the philosophic principles upon which it is based, will be destroyed but how much longer it will take to finish the job.
