Thirty years ago, Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner was violently murdered by Mumia Abu-Jamal, a member of a racist group that advocated violence against police. A jury convicted him and sentenced him to death for the brutal crime. In the three decades that followed, Abu-Jamal filed appeal after appeal – each rooted in lies, distortions and allegations of civil rights violations. Today, as Officer Faulkner lies in his grave, Abu-Jamal has become a wealthy celebrity and continues to spew his vitriol from prison.
Incredibly, President Obama has nominated Debo Adegbile, a Mumia supporter as the Assistant Attorney General to head the civil rights division at the Department of Justice. The U.S. Senate refused to elect a supporter of the cop murderer.
If the third graders want to write “Get Well” letters they should write them to Maureen Faulkner, the widow of officer Danny Faulkner whose face was blown off by Mumia.
Zuniga is on paid suspension. If she is entitled to a union job it should be far from children. Her Union should support the police and apologize on her behalf to Maureen Faulkner. they need to condemn people who support murderer Mumia. Zuniga should apologize to the police who protect her; to the District attorney; to the judges who ran the jury trial of Mumia and to the jurors. The students should thank everyone of the jurors who had to sit in judgment of the evidence against Mumia for murdering Police Officer Daniel Faulkner. By keeping Mumia in jail everyone is safer, even Marilyn Zuniga who takes advantage of their work and protection of her while she taunts them. She’s a disgrace to the human race.
