In a joint column, Federal Communications Commission member Ajit Pai and Federal Election Commission member Lee Goodman, leveled the boom on the Obama-favored regulations. “These Internet regulations will deter broadband deployment, depress network investment and slow broadband speeds. How do we know? Compare Europe, which has long had utility-style regulations, with the United States, which has embraced a light-touch regulatory model. Broadband speeds in the United States, both wired and wireless, are significantly faster than those in Europe. Broadband investment in the United States is several multiples that of Europe. And broadband’s reach is much wider in the United States, despite its much lower population density,” the two wrote.
They also joined to warn about the Democrat-chaired Federal Election Commission eyeing regulation of political speech on the Internet.
What did they just do, the bastards Obama and Boehner? They slowed down the internet. Read that again and memorize it. Broadband speeds which are several times faster than Europe are forced by Obama to slow down. the Democrats are deliriously happy. They hate the free market and are glad people will be punished for using the fast internet. Anything that makes your life more miserable they support. They oppose your long life so they supported Obamacare which raised the cost of medical insurance except for 40 million illegals who get it for free. The other 280 million Americans each pay more.
That’s what government does. It slows things down. It’s like changing the speed on the PA Turnpike from 65 miles an hour to 25 to make driving safer.
Will the slower Internet speeds help you? No, but the slower speeds will make it easier for Obama to spy on you and everyone else.
Government doesn’t like the internet because unlike the newspapers, radio and TV, they cannot control it. Until now, that is.
Their next step will be to ration internet bandwidth and prohibit free speech. Instead of saying what you want, you will have to devise codes to get around the forbidden words. Who is opposed to slowing down the Internet? No one in government. Not bastard Boehner. He supports Obama on this and many other issues, the coward. .
