Ochlocracy[Oh Clock Rah See], (“rule of the general populace”) is a type of “tyranny of the majority”.
Ochlocracy is profoundly anti-American. America is based on the supremacy of The Individual. America in it’s founding principles is as far from ochlocracy as it’s possible to get. America is a sort of “tyranny of the individual” but that’s a rather meaningless phrase. There is no threat from an individual. Only mobs and governments are threats.
The more modern term for ochlocracy is “mobocracy”, which is the definition that applies to the rioters in Ferguson with the additional attribute that the mobs in Ferguson have burned and looted businesses. Those are criminal actions which should not only be condemned. The criminals should be arrested, tried and punished. Instead, they are almost adored by Obama.
The hidden premise that undergirds the Ferguson Riots is disrespect for the individual and the adoration of mobs in general. President Obama, like Pontius Pilate before him, promotes the supremacy of the mob. He supports the philosophical premise that white people are racist especially against blacks. By providing justification for the Ferguson mobs he is in on the conspiracy to overthrow the philosophical basis of America.
Obama has proclaimed repeatedly he understands the anger. Why does he believe that? Their anger is directed wrongly. The President should condemn anger regardless of the reasons and work to remove the basis of any problem. First, however he needs to identify the problem, not blame the white people and call them racists. That wrongly establishes that the mobs are morally correct, which they are not. No criminal actions are morally correct.
A rioting mob is a criminal enterprise bent on using force to exert their will. That’s not an example of Free Speech. Mob violence, as has repeatedly occurred in Ferguson, is criminal and the perpetrators should not be encouraged by the President but arrested by the police, the National Guard, the FBI and any other government agency charged with enforcing the law.
Like Pilate, Obama doesn’t care about the Rights of Officer Wilson, in large part because the good officer is not black like the President. Pilate was more moral than Obama. Pilate wasn’t against Jesus because of his creed, he was indifferent. Obama on the other hand is motivated by revenge. History will condemn Obama.
The adoration of mobs is supported by Liberals and the Left in America. Their silence about crimes committed by non-whites while howling about crimes committed by whites is not only disgraceful, it becomes part of a conspiracy when it fails to report the truth about the riots and rioters.
Even worse, the media supports the mob’s crimes. It’s immoral to support criminals. The media is thereby complicit. Conspiratorial. Conspirators. Fellow conspirators.
In a rather bizarre reference from Wikipedia, the Wikipeeds (who are notorious supporters of ochlocracy) wrote: “In ancient Greek political thought ochlocracy was considered as one of the three “bad” forms of government (tyranny, oligarchy and ochlocracy) as opposed to the three “good” forms of government (monarchy, aristocracy, and democracy). The distinction between “good” and “bad” was made according to whether the government form would act in the interest of the whole community (“good”) or the exclusive interests of a group or individual at the expense of justice (“bad”).
In fact all six are bad, even democracy is it’s not checked and balanced by the rule of law.
Therein is the explanation for the unpopularity of mob rule as well as why a government that doesn’t protect the rights of the individual as opposed to the power of the mob or a king is against the very nature of the individual.
Why would an American Predsident support mobs who are rioting? Because, he tells us, he understands their grievences and they are right to riot.
Ilana Mercer had this to say: “In absolute numbers, more whites than blacks are culled by cop, confirms politifact.com. Rand Paul is right and righteous to warn of the universal, indiscriminate “militarization of law enforcement,” coupled with “an erosion of civil liberties and due process that allows the police to become judge and jury—national security letters, no-knock searches, broad general warrants, pre-conviction forfeiture.”
“Where, then, is that black politician who would break from his racial orbit and recognize that, black, brown and white, we are all in this together? He’s not in the White House.
“MSNBC host Al Sharpton is that fellow whose intelligible spoken English is confined to the words “racial discrimination.” The country’s second-leading race agitator has been deputized by its first as liaison to the White House in Ferguson. With his choice of Sharpton as point man on the ground, President Barack Obama, who was to usher in an America in which “ebony and ivory live together in perfect harmony,” is stoking more strife.
“Like two pimps in a pod, Sharpton and Obama have collaborated to keep racial grievance going.”
The Reign of the Bangers. The Rule of the Mob. Too bad for America. Too bad for the rule of law. Too bad for the human race.
