About the only thing that can be said about Obama’s coalition against ISIS or whatever it’s called is that no Western Nation will stand in his way. The non-caucasian community is not a coalition but Obama is, unfortunately, just about alone with his whispered “Bombs Away” war that’s widely seen, again, unfortunately, as a phony “War”.
Inside America where the people aren’t stupid, it’s widely known how wrong Obama was, is and continues to be as the Commander-in-Chief. He is however widely supported with his orders to bomb ISIS.
It’s impossible to call a war popular. Too many people are willing to talk the talk as long as they don’t have to walk the walk but President Obama is on the right path sending bombs into Syria in the hope he will help Democrats keep control of the Senate Nov. 4th. Neither his head nor heart are helping him against ISIS but at least he’s doing the right thing.
His speech at the United Nations included these memorable words: “No God condones this terror. No grievance justifies these actions. There can be no reasoning – no negotiation – with this brand of evil. The only language understood by killers like this is the language of force.”
The President is right but he didn’t go far enough explaining it’s impossible to talk to people who have renounced their use of reason. Terrorists reject reason long before they decide to terrorize. They hate Democracy, Freedom and Liberty. They follow wrong ideas and rotten rules. It’s not so much that they follow a religion; it’s that they follow blindly without question when a bit of questioning would reveal the wrongness.
So America is bombing very selectively a limited number of targets in Syria mostly alone. It’s good some so called Arab Nations are supporting and participating in the bombing but essentially this is Obama’s war.
