Following the Double Standard

First read “Hatred of Western Civilization: Why Terrorists Attacked America” that was published September 20, 2001, nine days after 9/11. (HERE). Author John David Lewis is absolutely correct in every idea in his article except he stays away from using religion as part of his conclusion about the cause of 9/11.

Using religion to support or deny an argument is futile so long as religion is as popular as it is and the popularity of religion shown in the total number of religious people, is increasing. Judaism and Christianity caused plenty of wars but finally they reached an accommodation. Not so with Islam.

The contradictions are known to worldwide law enforcement and Homeland Security but they don’t go public with their knowledge because they don’t want to kick the hornet’s nest.

As long as the basis of Terrorism is not attacked, terrorists will continue to be terrorists. No half-hearted or half-baked attempt like the jawboning of President Obama or his very, very limited military responses will stop terrorism but President Obama is only using air strikes and military advisors for his political purposes which are to avoid too many Democrat losses in the upcoming elections.
