It’s Evolution or God.. Either mankind was created by God in one swift stroke or human’s evolved from lower lifeforms like monkeys or gorillas. It cannot be both because they are very different ideas. In fact, monkeys must have evolved from an earlier life-form that evolved from an even earlier one and so on down to something inanimate that became animated, like an amoeba or paramecium. But what about “The Spiritual”? What about that feeling that there’s something greater than oneself? That feeling of awe at the universe? ..
Yeah… What about that? How about : It’s the Subconscious.. The subconscious is an integrating mechanism. It’s the part of the brain that that exists in the background. It cannot be accessed, at least not directly but it can be programmed to access the memory banks by concerted effort. Unless the subconscious is brought into focus, the individual is in danger of following ideas that are different than the ideas they want to follow. We don’t rob banks, for example because of the penalties but if we are morally correct we don’t rob banks because that’s wrong. It’s wrong because the money isn’t ours.
