Guns in America are not a significant problem compared to the 167 people who die every year from disease for each one person killed by some nut with a gun. Each year 11,000 people are killed by guns. But each year 1.8 MILLION people are killed by disease.
34,000 people are killed each year by cars. That’s three people killed by cars for each person killed by a nut with a gun. Should we ban gasoline since it’s the cause of three times as many death’s as guns?
The Left and the Liberals who want a compliant population know an armed citizen will stand in their way if the Liberals, as they have been trying to do far too often, are able to push aside the Constitution and seize the guns.
President Obama has distain for citizens with firearms. “They cling to their guns and their religion” he said in 2008. Barack Hussein Obama want’s an unarmed population. The criminals want an unarmed population. The Left want’s an unarmed population and they’ve been lying thru their treacherous mouth’s to get it. They have fooled most of the media. But many in the media are worse liars about death’s by gun nuts than the lying Left
So if the Left is sincere, (they aren’t) when they say they want to ban violent death, -that would be: the cars; the heart attacks; the cancer and so on. Get something done about the 1.8 million. Get something done about making cars and roads safer. Make more people prosperous so they can buy bigger, heavier, safer cars.
A good case could be made that roads cause more violent death than a nut with a gun.
Same for gasoline. The unlimited purchases of gasoline and cars lead to three times as many death’s as some nut with a gun.
The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence reports that an average of 86 people are killed by guns every day in the United States. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that between 2000 and 2010, more than 300,000 people died from guns.
That’s 30,000 per year yet the same CDC reports on their website:
Number of deaths: 16,259
Deaths per 100,000 population: 5.3
Number of deaths: 11,078
Deaths per 100,000 population: 3.6
They also report:
Number of deaths for leading causes of death
- Heart disease: 597,689
- Cancer: 574,743
- Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 138,080
- Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 129,476
- Accidents (unintentional injuries): 120,859
- Alzheimer’s disease: 83,494
- Diabetes: 69,071
- Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, and nephrosis: 50,476
- Influenza and Pneumonia: 50,097
- Intentional self-harm (suicide): 38,364 for
It’s time for the Left to correct their lying about guns. It’s time for the Left to tell the truth about death. It’s time for the Left to go away.
